Starting Your Practice Session

Begin by selecting a mode in the CellAED TRAINER™ app. Choose between automated mode, adult or infant scenarios, and select a specific situation to simulate.

Activating Your CellAED TRAINER™

Follow these steps to simulate the use of your CellAED® personal defibrillator:

• Hold your TRAINER™ with the pictures facing you and the reusable gel pad liner labelled “Reusable liner. Do not discard” facing down.
• Perform the Snap Peel Stick steps to simulate the use of the CellAED® personal defibrillator.
• Listen to the audio instructions through the app following each step.

Applying the Pads Correctly

Separate the pads, extend the cable, and completely remove the protective liner. Stick one pad on the top right-hand side and the other on the bottom left-hand side of the chest, ensuring proper placement and adhesion.

Special Considerations

Pay attention to specific scenarios such as patients with pacemakers, or when practising on infants:

• For patients with pacemakers, ensure the pad is placed at least 2.5cm away from the device.
• In infant scenarios, place one pad on the chest and the other on the back, and activate infant mode if applicable.
