Coping with stress during the Coronavirus outbreak

The current COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak is a worrying time for us all, and it is normal to feel sad, stressed, confused, scared or angry. The World Health Organisation has given some advice to help you cope with this stressful time.

The advice from the World Health Organisation includes, talking to people you feel may be able to help you, such as family and friends. If you are feeling particularly overwhelmed, you may want to talk to a health worker or counsellor. You do not want to use smoking, alcohol or other drugs to deal with your emotions. Other advice includes limiting your time watching or listening to media coverage that could upset you, and ensuring you are gathering information from a credible source, such as www.WHO.INT.  You can complete our free Coronavirus Training course.
